Knowing what an opioid overdose looks like is important. If someone is exhibiting the following behavior, they may have taken more medication than needed:
-slow or shallow breathing, slow heartbeat
-falling asleep or unconscious
-pale, blue or cold skin
-exhibiting choking sounds
-the body has gone limp
